Tri-fold Brochure Design

I created a trifold brochure that showcased NVRC's missions and objectives. With great attention to detail, I made sure that the overall look of the brochure aligned perfectly with NVRC's branding colors of navy blue and bright yellow. The new brochure effectively communicates the organization's goals and their upcoming events. My favorite part of doing this is continuation design from the front to the back of the brochure.

Social Media Designs

As part of my responsibilities at NVRC, I was tasked with creating social media posts to ensure our platform remained engaging and connected with the community. To accomplish this, I used both Adobe Illustrator and Canva to meet the specific objectives of content in a variety of sizes and dimensions, such as Eventbrite headers, Facebook posts, Instagram posts, etc. These tools allowed me to create visually appealing and impactful posts that effectively communicated our message to our audience.

Business Card Design

I designed NVRC business card design with a QR code that adds to your contacts automatically when you scan with your phone. I used slant design to match NVRC's branding elements. I ensured the clarity with icons next to contact information.

NVRC's Mousepad Design

NVRC requested a promotional mousepad featuring their logo, so I designed a graphic that aligns with NVRC’s mission. Since their logo is described as a "sunburst," I envisioned placing their logo as the sun rising over the horizon. To add a unique touch, I incorporated a cloud shaped like the sign for "I Love You" in American Sign Language (ASL), which represents deaf culture.

Annual Letter (Report) Design

The Northern Virginia Resource Center (NVRC) usually holds its annual meeting every December, and I designed double-sided legal letters for the team to print. These letters are used to distribute copies to members, who receive them in person to read through.

While designing, I carefully added elements that matched the winter theme without using any Christmas-related imagery. I chose the typography and color palette to evoke a sense of coziness and maturity.

The interesting part of this project was the donation section on the last (fourth) page, as I had to imagine how it would look if cut off from the paper in real life, rather than just viewing it on a screen.
