Social Media Reel Production/Editing

I recorded several videos of the ongoing event and combined selected clips into a reel. My goal was to create an upbeat and exciting video to give future attendees a sense of what the event is like. I also added captions to ensure it is accessible for the deaf and hard-of-hearing audience.

Event Material Designs

The Northern Virginia Resource Center hosts an annual free event called "Celebrate Communication" to provide resources and networking opportunities for the deaf and hard of hearing community. My main responsibilities included designing promotional materials, such as a large poster and the conference website. To attract attention, I created a large poster with a prominent title to showcase the event, which was displayed in various locations in a local mall. Understanding that people tend to walk quickly past posters in a mall, I focused on making the poster concise and clear. Additionally, I developed a website where people could sign up for exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities and submit the forms. It was important to me that the design of all collateral materials was consistent with the event's brand guidelines.
